Nigella Hillgarth, PhD
Biologist, environmental advocate, and photographer.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Oxford University and a PhD in Evolutionary Biology, Nigella has conducted research on behavioral ecology and evolution on birds in many parts of the world including the United States, Britain, India, Thailand, the Arctic and South America. Now she has combined her passions for science and the environment with photography and public speaking — expressing the environmental issues that face us through images that capture the beauty of our planet, while reminding us of the enormous problems we have to tackle today.
